
The details: The victim, a man aged in his 30s, remains in hospital in a serious condition after what police describe as an altercation between two groups in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called at just before 01:50 this morning to reports of an incident in Whitehouse Park.
An altercation took place between a group of three teenage males and a group of four adults, resulting in one of the adults being stabbed.
The victim was taken to hospital with his injuries described as life-threatening and his condition remains serious.
Swift response: Officers arrived at the scene within a matter of minutes and three male suspects were quickly identified and arrested in the Whitehouse area within an hour of police being called.
The three suspects – two men aged 19 and a 17-year-old boy – were all arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm and were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre, where they currently remain for questioning.
