Police search for missing 15-year-old believed to be in Ipswich

Officers are appealing for help to trace Damaris Richards, who was last seen at his home in the West Midlands on Wednesday, 8 October, and is believed to have travelled to Ipswich.

Why it matters: Police have been conducting searches in the Ipswich area but have not been able to locate the teenager.

The details: Damaris is described as black, approximately 5ft 8in tall and of slim build. He was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and black Nike trainers with a light blue stripe on the side.

What to do if you can help: Anyone who believes they have seen Damaris, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact the Ipswich Response Investigation Team, quoting reference RID: 511829.

You can report information via the Suffolk Constabulary website, by calling 101, or by using the Live Chat service on the force's website.

The bottom line: Police are urging anyone with information about Damaris's whereabouts to come forward as searches continue across Ipswich.
