Modern accounting meets traditional values
Based in the historic Ipswich and Suffolk Club, RSZ Accountancy combines professional accounting services with a personalised approach.
Led by three local directors – Nick, Gemma, and Natasha – the six-person firm has established itself as part of the local business community.
They offer a comprehensive range of services including digital bookkeeping, tax advisory, payroll, and business growth consulting. The firm stands out for its fresh approach to accountancy, combining professional expertise with genuine passion for helping local businesses succeed.
Their story
After a decade of running someone else's business, Nick Hampton decided to start his own firm. What began as a solo practice evolved when he brought on two directors who complemented his skills: Gemma, with her background in recruitment and administration, and Natasha, bringing organisational expertise to the team.
Local roots
The firm's office overlooks the Pykenham Gatehouse, Ipswich's oldest building dating back to the 1400s. The location reflects RSZ's connection to local heritage, with directors who have strong ties to the area: Gemma was born and raised in Ipswich, Nick has lived or worked in the town since childhood, and Natasha has called it home since 2012.
Business philosophy
RSZ adapts to each client's preferences, offering both traditional face-to-face meetings and digital services. The team focuses on building long-term relationships while providing practical accounting solutions for local businesses.
Unlike traditional accountancy practices, RSZ embraces a fully digital approach, helping clients transition from paper-based systems to streamlined, efficient processes that save both time and money. Their services span sole traders to limited companies, with particular expertise in Xero, DEXT, and digital tax compliance.
