Which ‘mischievous’ film character is visiting the Buttermarket Centre this month?

A "mischievous" guest will visit the Ipswich shopping centre's tropical-themed family day on 27 May, to celebrate the release of the new Lilo & Stitch film during May half-term.

Why it matters: The free event offers family entertainment, including free face painting and the chance to win cinema tickets for the new Lilo & Stitch film.

The details: The Buttermarket Centre is hosting an "Aloha Adventure Day" with a Hawaiian theme and activities including:

  • Free face painting for children

  • A selfie station with special backdrop

  • Prize draw for a family ticket to see the new Lilo & Stitch movie at Omniplex

What they're saying: "We're looking forward to welcoming families for a memorable and fun-filled Aloha Adventure Day," says Rebecca Bird, Buttermarket Centre Manager. "A family favourite from an upcoming movie release is visiting the centre and will be bringing their mischievous behaviour with them."

The bottom line: Shoppers are encouraged to follow the Buttermarket's Facebook and Instagram accounts for updates and clues about the special guest character, with additional information available at buttermarketipswich.com/events/.
