Ipswich law firm Attwells Solicitors has relocated its head office to St. Vincent's House on Cutler Street, as the firm says it is entering a new phase of growth.

Why it matters: The move ensures the firm's headquarters remains in a central town centre location, with managing partner Nick Attwell saying the new premises reflect both the firm's growth and its "ambitions for the future."

The details: Attwells Solicitors moved to St. Vincent's House on Cutler Street on Monday, 2 March 2026. The firm says the new office provides increased capacity for team growth, enhanced meeting facilities, and additional space for investment in technology and services.

Founded in 2007, Attwells has grown from a local practice into a multi-office firm with bases in Ipswich, Colchester, Woodbridge and London, advising individuals and businesses across property law, conveyancing, litigation, employment law and family law.

The bigger picture: The relocation follows a period of expansion for the firm, including a merger with David Morgan Jones Solicitors in Colchester in 2025, which the firm says strengthened its presence across Essex and Suffolk. The company has been searching for new premises for some time, with managing partner Nick Attwell  keen to remain in the town centre.

What they're saying: Attwell said: "Our move to St. Vincent's House marks an exciting new chapter for Attwells. Since 2007, we have grown from a local practice into a multi-office firm built on strong client relationships and a commitment to clear, practical legal advice.

"This new Head Office reflects both our growth and our ambitions for the future. Ipswich remains at the heart of our business, and we look forward to welcoming clients, partners and visitors to our new premises as we continue to invest in our people, our technology and, most importantly, our client care."

The bottom line: Attwells Solicitors remains committed to Ipswich as its home base, with the move to St. Vincent's House positioning the firm for its next chapter after nearly two decades of growth.
