- Police were called at 02:20 on Tuesday, 18 August, to reports that a man was on the roof of a shop in Carr Street.
- A witness reported to this publication that a middle-aged man is understood to have broken into the Maestro butchers, but police haven't yet confirmed this.
- There remains a huge emergency services presence at the scene with at least five police cars, four ambulances and two fire engines.
- The incident is ongoing, and a cordon around the store has been established.
- Carr Street remains closed, and members of the public are being advised to avoid the immediate area.
