Suffolk military show returns to Kesgrave this June

The Suffolk Aviation Heritage Group's annual military show will take place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June 2025 at the old communications site on Foxhall Road.

Why it matters: Families can step back in time and experience centuries of military history brought to life through authentic re-enactments and displays right on their doorstep in Kesgrave.

The details: This year's show, which takes place at the old communications site on Foxhall Road, Kesgrave, features re-enactment groups spanning centuries of military history, from Viking through to Cold War periods.

Visitors can expect displays from the Napoleonic era, the Second World War and Home Front, Vietnam and the Cold War periods.

  • The weekend event runs from 10:00 to 16:00 on both days and includes military vehicle displays alongside the historical re-enactments

  • Admission costs £5 per adult, with children attending free with a paying adult

  • The site provides free parking, disabled access and on-site toilet facilities

  • Various stalls and traders will be present, including The Military Unit and Gorse Military Surplus, with food and refreshments available throughout both days

The venue also houses an air museum and tea room, with new exhibitions and aircraft displays opened in the hangars this year.
