'Safe hands' care team in line for national awards recognition

An Ipswich care company helping elderly residents maintain their independence has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

The details: Home Instead Ipswich, Woodbridge & Felixstowe has been named as a finalist in the Home Care Awards, which celebrates innovation across the UK's home care sector.

The company provides:

  • Companionship services

  • Specialist dementia care

  • Personal care, including help with dressing and bathing

What they're saying: "Being recognised in such a prestigious national awards ceremony is a testament to our hardworking team," says Joanna McCall, General Manager of Home Instead Ipswich, Woodbridge & Felixstowe.

"It's an honour to support ageing adults in the area and give them the independence that staying at home provides. We're not just helping clients themselves, we're supporting the whole family by giving them reassurance that their loved one is in safe hands."

What's next: The awards ceremony will take place at the National Conference Centre in Solihull on 7 March.
