Police appeal for help to locate two missing girls

Two teenage girls from Hitcham were reported missing on Sunday, with police now appealing for public assistance in finding them.

Why it matters: Both Katie-Violet, 15, and Martha, 16, were reported missing on Sunday, 9 March and have connections outside Suffolk, raising concerns they may have travelled beyond the county.

The details: Katie-Violet is described as white, around 5ft tall, of medium build, with shoulder-length brown hair.

Martha is described as white, around 5ft 3ins tall, of slight build, and may be wearing glasses.

The teens went missing together and both currently remain missing.

For context: The teenagers have connections to various locations:

  • Katie-Violet has links to Suffolk, Peterborough and London

  • Martha has connections in Suffolk and the London area

What to do: Suffolk Constabulary is asking anyone with information about either teenager to contact them via:

  • The police website reporting form

  • Phone: 101

  • Live Chat service on the Suffolk Police website

In an emergency, the public should call 999.

The bottom line: Police enquiries are ongoing to find both missing teenagers from Hitcham.
