iCrack, a new phone repair shop, is set to open its doors on Westgate Street in Ipswich town centre.

What's happening: The store is currently being fitted, adding to the nine existing options available to town centre shoppers.

Why it matters: The opening of iCrack brings another phone repair shop to Ipswich's high street, raising some questions about where the demand is coming from and how this part of the retail sector is seemingly thriving while others struggle.

What they're saying: We asked one local shopper what they thought: "I honestly don't get how they all survive. It's not a great look for the town centre."

What's next: While an exact opening date has not been announced, shoppers can expect to see iCrack operational once the fitting process is complete.

The bottom line: iCrack's arrival marks the latest addition to Ipswich's high street, bringing the total number of phone repair shops in the town centre to 10.
