Kick off your half term with this fin-tastic family show at DanceEast

What happens when dance, circus and theatre collide? Find out this Friday at 18:00 when Fish Boy, a captivating new production at DanceEast, promises the perfect start to your half-term.

For one evening only, families are invited to follow young Tommy Minton on an unforgettable quest to find his missing best friend 'fish,' uncovering the truth about what's polluting our rivers along his way.

Based on real events from Herefordshire, the family-friendly production from award-winning company 2Faced Dance, blends dance, circus and theatre as it tackles important environmental themes while keeping entertainment and fun at its heart.

More than just a performance

Families are invited to arrive early for arts and crafts activities in the foyer, and a special children's meal deal is available in the café. For just £5, young theatre-goers get a lunchbox including their choice of sandwich, Pom-Bears, dried apricots, a chocolate treat and a Ribena.

After cheering Tommy along on his adventure, young audience members can meet their favourite characters in a special post-show meet and greet.

Who's it for?

Everyone.

If, like me, you're not a 'dance person', here's an account of my first experience of DanceEast, when my wife and I took our 7-year-old daughter to see The Little Prince, which blew us all away.

While the show is perfect for children aged six and above, younger siblings are welcome to join in the fun at the relaxed, child-friendly venue.

Book your tickets before they run out

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £8 for children, offering an affordable evening of quality entertainment for the whole family.
