Katie Baird found but police search for Ellie Roger continues

One of two girls reported missing in Ipswich earlier this week remains unaccounted for, with police renewing their appeal for public assistance.

Katie Baird found safe and well: The 13-year-old from Ipswich, who was also reported missing on Monday, has now been found.

But Ellie Roger remains missing: Ellie Roger, 15, was last seen at her Ipswich home on Monday evening. Police have renewed their appeal for information.

She is described as:

  • Slim build

  • Long dark brown hair

  • Nose ring

  • Last seen wearing an all-black tracksuit and white and black Nike Air Jordan trainers

What's next: Suffolk Police are continuing their search efforts and urging the public to remain vigilant.

How to help: Anyone who believes they have seen Ellie or has information about her whereabouts should call the duty sergeant at Landmark House in Ipswich on 101.

The bottom line: Police have expressed concern for Ellie's welfare and are grateful for the public and media's ongoing assistance in the search.
