Why it matters: The sentencing follows a major police operation that disrupted cocaine supply across multiple Suffolk towns, removing significant quantities of class A drugs from local communities.
The details: Tigges was sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court on Wednesday for possession with intent to supply class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of criminal property.
Police conducted warrants at his Belstead Avenue property and a second address in March 2025, seizing around 600g of cocaine, 1.1kg of cannabis and just under £50,000 cash. He was subsequently charged.
The big picture: Investigations established Tigges was supplying cocaine across Ipswich, Stowmarket, Hadleigh and surrounding areas. He pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.
