Ipswich man charged with intentional sexual touching

A 43-year-old man from Ipswich has been charged with intentional sexual touching following an incident in June. Lee Proctor will appear before magistrates in December.

The details: Lee Proctor, of Roundwood Road, is charged with intentional sexual touching of a male over 16.

  • The incident occurred on 3 June 2024

  • He has been released on police bail

  • He will appear at Ipswich Magistrates' Court on 23 December 2024

Support available: Suffolk has dedicated services for victims of sexual assault, including:

  • A Sexual Assault Referral Centre

  • Independent sexual violence advisors (ISVAs)

  • Support options available with or without police involvement

The bottom line: Anyone who has been the victim of a sexual offence can access Suffolk's support services whether or not they choose to report to police.
