Firefighters tackle early morning house blaze on Moore Road, Ipswich

Crews from three fire stations responded to a house fire on Moore Road in the early hours of Monday, with no injuries reported.

The big picture: Firefighters were called to the scene at 02:15am and successfully extinguished the blaze using specialised equipment.

  • Three fire engines attended: two from Princes Street station and one from Ipswich East.

  • Some firefighters wore breathing apparatus while tackling the fire.

What's next: An investigation into the cause of the fire is scheduled to take place later on Monday.
