Calendar Club returns to Ipswich for Christmas season

Calendar Club launched its festive pop-up store at a new location in Ipswich town centre last weekend. The retailer has moved from its previous Westgate Street site to 17 Tavern Street, formerly occupied by The Body Shop.

Why it matters: The move places Calendar Club in a prime spot on one of Ipswich's busiest shopping streets just as the Christmas shopping period begins.

Key details:

  • The store opened on Saturday, 19 October 2024

  • It will remain open until early January 2025

  • Products include calendars, diaries, and gifts, with most items priced under £10

  • Ipswich Town FC branded merchandise is also available

What they're saying: "Calendar Club is always a welcome addition to Ipswich's retail offering at Christmas time," said Rachael Jackson of Penn Commercial. "We are confident that their new site at 17 Tavern Street – right in the heart of the town's busiest thoroughfare – will prove a great hit with festive shoppers."

The bottom line: With 25 years of high street experience, Calendar Club aims to offer Ipswich shoppers a wide selection of calendars and gifts for the 2024 festive season.
