Suffolk Dog Day returns to Trinity Park

The details: Suffolk Dog Day will feature fun dog classes and Crufts-style competitions, a dog pool cool-off area, and dog agility and scurry activities. There will also be more than 50 stalls selling dog toys, treats and other canine goodies, alongside children's entertainment and food and drink stalls.

The bigger picture: St Elizabeth Hospice's services cost around £12m a year to deliver, with 70% of this funded by the local community through retail shops, events, individual fundraising, and gifts in wills and donations.
