Police appeal for witnesses after cyclist in his 70s seriously injured on Felixstowe Road
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a cyclist in his 70s suffered potentially life-threatening injuries in a collision with a car on the outskirts of Ipswich.
Officers were called to the A1156 Felixstowe Road, near Trinity Park, just after 17:15 on Tuesday, 6 October, following reports of a collision between a car and a bicycle.
Police, the East of England Ambulance Service and an air ambulance attended, and the road was closed between Murrills Road and Straight Road.
The cyclist, a man in his 70s, was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The road reopened at about 00:20 on Wednesday, 7 October.
