Why it matters: Suffolk Constabulary officers remain at the scene this morning as they speak with the organisers of what police have described as an unlicensed music event.

The details: Officers were called at 20:00 on Saturday, 18 April to reports of the gathering in Trimley St Martin.

  • Police units are still on the scene and are speaking with the organisers.
  • All of those who were in attendance are now leaving the site.
  • One man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and has been taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

What's next: Suffolk Constabulary is appealing for anyone with information about illegal raves or unlicensed music events, or who witnesses any suspicious activity on farmland or in buildings, to contact the force on 101 or report online at suffolk.police.uk/tell-us.

The bottom line: Police remain at the Thorpe Lane site as attendees leave and officers continue to speak with organisers following the overnight response.
