Greener Ipswich is a not-for-profit community interest company established in May 2024, dedicated to making Ipswich more attractive and environmentally healthy through tree planting and urban gardening projects. The organisation works independently from local councils to provide cost-effective solutions that complement existing environmental work, whilst supporting volunteers who want to contribute to improving Ipswich's green spaces.

Tree destroyed 'deliberately and with force' by vandals as volunteers refuse to give up

Volunteers from Greener Ipswich CIC are vowing to continue their town centre environmental work after vandals deliberately destroyed one of their newly planted hornbeam trees on Tower Street over the weekend.
