A free open mic night will mark National Poetry Day 2024 at The Steamboat Tavern in Ipswich this evening.

To celebrate, SoapBox Spoken Word CIC, a newly formed organisation championing spoken word in the region, is hosting "Words & Verses," welcoming poets, comedians, rappers, and storytellers to share their work.
