(Ellisons Solicitors)

The details: Chambers joined Ellisons  as a trainee solicitor in 2023 and gained experience across several of the firm's specialist departments as part of his training contract. Now qualified, he will work from the Ipswich office supporting clients with various injury claims and helping them access compensation.

The firm's Injury Services team handles cases for clients whose accidents can mark the start of traumatic and difficult periods that significantly impact them, their families and their work.

What they're saying: Stevan Stratton , partner and head of the Injury Services team, said: "We are excited to have Jay join the team, further strengthening our specialist Injury Services offering. Jay's addition will help us continue to grow and deliver an exceptional service to our clients, supporting them in seeking justice and recovering the compensation and care they deserve."

Chambers added: "Ellisons is a thriving firm which has an excellent reputation, and it's a privilege to qualify into such a respected and client-focused team. The Injury Services team handles life-changing cases with care and precision, and I look forward to contributing to this important work and supporting our clients."

The bottom line: The appointment sees Chambers join Ellisons' established team of personal injury and medical negligence lawyers.
