The company

  • Achilleus Security is recruiting event stewards in Ipswich and surrounding areas

  • Established and growing company in the security sector

The role

  • Ensure safety and security of employees and customers at events/venues

  • Interact with public, provide information and directions

  • Monitor access points and crowds

  • Enforce event policies and safety procedures

  • Respond to incidents and emergencies as needed

  • Work at indoor and outdoor events in Ipswich, Suffolk, Essex and beyond

The requirements

  • Must be over 18 years old

  • Good command of English language

  • Hold or be willing to work towards Level 2/3 Spectator Safety Qualification

  • Able to provide ID, right to work, and 5-year checkable history

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Calm under pressure, reliable, and flexible

  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
