Why it matters: A win brings a £1,000 cash grant for the breakfast club plus the chance to be celebrated at a ceremony at the Houses of Parliament — recognition for the staff and volunteers behind it.

The details: Applications close at midnight on Friday, 29 June 2026. Schools across the East of England are invited to showcase their breakfast club and the staff, volunteers and pupils behind it.

Kellogg's will recognise winners across eight categories this year, including six regional awards for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, South England, Central England and North England.

What's new: For the first time, a Breakfast Club Star Award will celebrate a pupil who consistently shows enthusiasm, kindness and commitment at their club. Schools are asked to put forward a pupil they feel deserves the title, with the winner named at the ceremony and invited to share what breakfast clubs mean to them.

What they're saying: Andrew Ridge, social impact manager at Kellogg's, said: "We've been supporting breakfast clubs for nearly 30 years, so we understand the important role they play for children and families across the UK.

"Every morning, schools are creating safe, welcoming spaces where children can enjoy breakfast, build friendships and start the day ready to learn. The positive impact these clubs have is made possible by the passion and commitment of the teachers, support staff and volunteers behind them.

"We are looking forward to hearing from schools again this year and recognising the people and pupils who help make these clubs so special."

What's next: Winners will be revealed at a ceremony at the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday, 18 November 2026, where schools will have the chance to share their stories in front of MPs and leading industry figures.

Previous winners include Southbury Primary School in Enfield, named Kellogg's Breakfast Club of the Year 2025, and Stranraer Academy in Scotland.

The bottom line: This is a chance for Ipswich schools to champion their breakfast club and the people behind it — and to put a standout pupil in the running for £1,000 and recognition at the Houses of Parliament.
