Sam Murray is an Independent borough councillor for the Castle Hill ward of Ipswich. She was previously a Conservative county councillor for Whitehouse and Whitton in Ipswich, but resigned from the Tories following allegations of bullying made towards Suffolk County Council leader Matthew Hicks.
