Ipswich.co.uk was launched in August 2024 as a free and fiercely independent alternative to the Ipswich Star.
It is owned and edited by Oliver Rouane-Williams, a local media entrepreneur who has spent the last 15 years growing some of the country's biggest news and media companies before jacking it all in to launch a publication in his hometown of Ipswich.
