Why it matters: This is the last chance for Suffolk's financial, insurance and professional services (FIPS) businesses to gain recognition in the county's first dedicated industry awards.

The details: Applications for the FIPS Business Awards 2025 close on Thursday, 22nd August, after opening on 22nd July.

  • The awards recognise excellence across six categories within Suffolk's financial, insurance and professional services sectors.

  • Businesses can apply for multiple categories, while nominations from other companies will count towards overall scoring for applicants.

  • Finalists will be announced on 8th September 2025.

What's next: The awards dinner takes place on 23rd October from 18:00-22:00 at Chef White's at Suffolk New College. Individual tickets cost £50, with tables of five priced at £225 and full tables of 10 at £450.

The price includes a three-course set meal, complimentary canapés and arrival drinks, plus bar access throughout the evening.

For context: This marks the first time Suffolk's FIPS sector has had dedicated awards recognition, highlighting the importance of financial and professional services to the local economy.

The bottom line: Suffolk's financial and professional services businesses have just four days left to secure their place in this inaugural celebration of sector excellence, with applications closing Thursday.
