Separating couples across Essex and Suffolk now have greater access to a constructive approach through law firm Ellisons, which has qualified another solicitor to deliver its Resolution Together service.

Why it matters: The expansion gives more families access to an innovative approach that helps reduce conflict, save costs and avoid court battles during separation.

Anna Cross, Legal Director in the Family Team, has qualified to deliver Resolution Together, an approach where one impartial lawyer helps both parties agree arrangements for their children, finances and future.

The details: Since introducing the model, Ellisons  has already seen strong early uptake, with several families choosing this constructive and cost-effective route.

Anna joins colleagues Sally Ward (Senior Associate) and Samantha Chase (Associate) in Ellisons' team of Resolution Together trained solicitors. The firm also has collaboratively trained lawyers, Sally Ward and Samantha Markham (Associate), who can act for individuals under the Collaborative Law model.

What they're saying: Lisa Dawson , Partner and Head of Family at Ellisons, said: "Anna's qualification reflects our commitment to offering clients options that help them move forward in a positive way. Resolution Together is transforming how families approach separation, helping them resolve issues with less stress, lower costs and a focus on what matters most."

"Resolution Together gives separating couples the chance to navigate one of life's toughest transitions in a more supportive and constructive way. Helping both parties reach agreements that work for their family, without court battles, is hugely rewarding," added Anna Cross.

The bottom line: Ellisons' Family Team advises clients on all aspects of family law, with the expanded Resolution Together service providing another option for couples seeking to separate constructively.
