# Wildlife Wise small grant fund opens for Suffolk conservation projects

Applications are now being accepted for grants of up to £5,000 to support wildlife protection initiatives along the Suffolk coast (Wildlife Wise)

Eligible projects may include:

- Implementing new signage
- Improving footpaths
- Creating designated dogs-off-lead areas
- Installing small areas of fencing to protect ground nesting birds

**For context:** Wildlife Wise is the new brand for the Suffolk Coast Recreational Disturbance and Mitigation Strategy (RAMS), created to prevent additional recreational pressure on important coastal and heathland sites.
