# West End Road Burger King set to become first 24-hour branch in Ipswich

**The big picture:** The restaurant has secured both a 24-hour premises licence and a late-night refreshment licence:

- The new licence allows food service from 23:00 to 05:00, Monday to Sunday
- Service is permitted both inside and outside the premises

The chain's other local restaurants at Anglia Retail Park, Copdock Interchange and Ransomes Way all close at 22:00.

**Bottom line:** Though the West End Road branch now has permission to operate 24 hours, it has not yet announced when or if it will extend its current 10:00-22:00 opening hours.
