Two men arrested after Ipswich hit-and-run assault
Police have arrested two Ipswich men in connection with a serious assault near Cambridge Drive where a pedestrian was struck by a car that fled the scene.

The details: The incident occurred at approximately 20:00 on Saturday, 7 June, near the One Stop shop on Cambridge Drive. A witness reported seeing a male pedestrian being struck by a black car containing two males, which then drove off.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm:
- A 22-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested in the Chantry area shortly before midday on Thursday, 12 June
- A 28-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested in Felixstowe before 15:00 the same day
Both men have been taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning by detectives.
What's next: Police continue to appeal for witnesses and are seeking home doorbell footage and dash-cam footage from drivers who were in the area at the time.
