Two charged after four-storey cannabis factory found on Ipswich high street
Two men have been charged after police discovered a large-scale cannabis growing operation spread across four floors of a former shop building in Ipswich town centre.
The details: Police executed a planned raid under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a derelict business premises in Carr Street on Friday 20 December.
- Officers found cannabis being grown across four floors of the building.
- Two men were arrested at the scene.
Who's involved: Kledis Zefi, 23, and Llazar Lepuri, 21, both of no fixed address, have been charged with production of a controlled Class B drug.
The bottom line: Zefi and Lepuri will remain in custody until they're due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 20 January.
