## The weather

We're starting with a misty morning that will give way to sunny intervals. Temperatures will hover between 2-5°C but feel much colder at 0-3°C.

- Consistent light winds from the south-southwest, around 6-7 mph

**Make sure you:**

- Wrap up warm – it'll feel close to freezing for most of the day
- Allow extra time for morning commutes due to misty conditions

- Consider a hat and gloves for early morning or evening activities

The rest of the week looks set to stay cool, with temperatures gradually climbing to 11°C by Friday, before settling around 8-10°C for the weekend.

**Bramford Lane**: Openreach is carrying out works until 23 January, with multi-way traffic signals in place.

**Clive Avenue**: Openreach works are ongoing until 23 January, with give and take traffic control.

**Downham Boulevard**: CityFibre is conducting works today with give and take traffic control in place.

**Edmonton Close, Kesgrave**: Urgent ironwork repairs are taking place at the junction with Bell Lane today, with multi-way signals in operation.

**Felixstowe Road**: Urgent footway pothole repairs are being carried out at the junction with Derby Road until 22 January, with multi-way signals in place.

**Gippeswyk Avenue**: Emergency pothole repairs are underway until 22 January, requiring a road closure.

**Hawthorn Drive**: Repairs to carriageway defects are taking place today near house numbers 296 and 298, with two-way signals in operation.

**Kildare Avenue**: Openreach works are ongoing until 23 January, with give and take traffic control.

**Larchcroft Road**: Emergency pothole repairs are being carried out from Congreve Road to Henley Road today, requiring a road closure. Additional works are taking place outside No.65 with two-way signals.

**London Road**: Minor street light repairs are being carried out opposite Grigsmore 325 until 22 January, requiring a lane closure.

**Macaulay Road**: Emergency pothole repairs are taking place from Defoe Road to Byron Road today, requiring a road closure.

**Mumford Road**: Openreach works are ongoing until 23 January, with multi-way signals in place.

**Park Road**: Virgin Media is conducting works until 23 January, with two-way signals in operation.

**Queensdale Close**: Carriageway defect repairs are taking place outside No.15 today, with temporary 15-minute delays expected.

**The Lawns**: Openreach works are ongoing until 23 January, with temporary 15-minute delays expected.

**The Street, Burstall**: CityFibre is conducting works until 29 January, with temporary 15-minute delays expected.

**Wallace Road**: Openreach works are taking place until 23 January, with give and take traffic control.

**Westerfield Road**: Planned Anglian Water works have been cancelled.

**Yarmouth Road**: Carriageway defect repairs are being carried out today near the Environment Agency gate, with two-way signals in place.
