**Why it matters:** The Street Market Stamp Trail is free to enter, and the market will host more than 30 stalls from new and regular local businesses along The Walk and Buttermarket between 10:00 and 16:00 this Sunday.

**The details:** This months market will include a trail with a chance to win £100\.

Here's how it works:

- Pick up a trail map, available at selected stalls and shops.
- Find the matching pictures displayed at participating stalls and collect a stamp at each one by asking the stallholders.
- Once all 10 stamps have been collected, write your name and contact number on the back of the form.
- Hand the completed form in to Threads or The Military Unit before 14:00.
- A winner will be selected at random at 15:00.

**The theme:** Sunday's market will feature interactive activities, and cosplay characters will be making an appearance. Stalls will cover retro gaming, local makers, curiosities and collectables, alternative and vintage fashion, witchy wares, and art and music.

Returning creatives include:

- Artwork by Window In The Moon, Dilly Dally Doodles and Soft Kitten Creations
- Fashion and accessories by Attic In The Moon, JL Retro and MSA Crochet Bags
- Gifts and trinkets by Rewop, Bulldog Lamps and Fern Alter

New attendees include Blast From The Past, Mulligan Games and Funky Frog.

**For context:** The market is organised by Threads and The Military Unit, with support from All About Ipswich, and the Fantasy & Gamers artwork was created by Becky Eaks. Previous markets this year included a Vintage & Retro edition in May and an expanded market in June, which spread out of The Walk's alleys and into Buttermarket.

**The bigger picture:** Sunday's market falls on the final day of Ipswich Book Festival, which runs from 2 to 4 October with more than 50 events across 10 venues in the town centre.

"We're excited to introduce a new addition to the markets: the Street Market Stamp Trail," said organisers Jenny Needham and Will Hamer, of Threads, and Becky Eaks, of The Military Unit.

"With the Book Festival on the same weekend there's plenty of reasons to visit the town!" the organisers said.

**The bottom line:** Sunday's market brings together more than 30 local stalls, a Fantasy & Gamers theme and a free £100 stamp trail, all on the final day of Ipswich Book Festival.
