How to save 20% at Ipswich climbing centre this half-term
Clip 'n Climb Ipswich is offering discounted sessions throughout May half-term to celebrate welcoming its 300,000th customer, with 30% off food also available.
Why it matters: Half-term – as they so often do – has come around fast. Whether you’re a regular vistor looking to save a few quid, or looking for new ways to keep the kids occupied, one of Ipswich's most popular family activities is more affordable when you need it most.

The big picture: Clip ‘n’ Climb Ipswich has seen extraordinary growth since opening in 2019, with customers collectively climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest more than 6,000 times.
- 300,000 customers served in six years
- 46 climbing walls and challenges, each 10 metres high
- 60 million metres climbed in total - equivalent to scaling Everest 6,780 times
- 20% discount on climbing sessions during half-term
- 30% off food at the Climber Diner
Josh Davey, Director of Clip 'n Climb Ipswich, said: "It is incredible to have welcomed our 300,000th customer and to have visualised just how high our customers have climbed in only six years."
What's available: The centre offers toddler sessions, an after school club and fitness classes throughout the week, alongside challenges including the Leap of Faith and Vertical Drop Slide. A softplay area operates next to the on-site cafe for younger guests.
Davey emphasised the inclusive nature of the facility: "What makes Clip 'n Climb Ipswich so inclusive is how it's not just adults who have climbed to these great heights - we're a popular venue for families, particularly during the school holidays, and children absolutely fly up the walls."

What's next: Davey said: "We're continuing to see more customers coming along for their first climb every week - and we love to see new faces. Hopefully as we continue to grow, our next milestone will be climbing the equivalent distance to the moon!"
The bottom line: The business is celebrating its success by making climbing more accessible during the school holidays, whilst continuing to serve as what Davey calls "a genuine community resource where all people - regardless of their ability - can come for a fun day out."
