# Regent's Cinderella breaks box office record after reopening

**The details:** The £3.45 million refurbishment, funded through a Restoration Levy, refurbished three bars, redeveloped the Circle Lounge, installed a new lift, upgraded the toilets, and restored the Art Deco frontage and foyer. The theatre closed in May 2025, with work completed by mid-November.

**For context:** KLH Architects designed the restoration, and Mixbrow Construction managed the project, with the vast majority of works carried out by local contractors. The theatre's bars feature a partnership with Adnams, which installed what the company describes as the longest bar it has ever created.
