The power company is carrying out repairs outside Britannia Fish Bar on Woodbridge Road, causing limited access to the nearby Regent Car Park in Coden Place.

Ipswich Borough Council has confirmed the short-stay facility will remain closed until further notice.

Motorists who parked their vehicles in the car park this morning can retrieve them, but new entries are restricted until the maintenance work is completed.

The council will provide updates when the car park can fully reopen.
