# Preston man charged with cocaine supply after being pulled over on London Road, Ipswich

**The big picture** Police arrested Egamshukurov, from Preston, after officers on patrol stopped a black Honda Jazz on London Road just before 8:15pm on Tuesday.

**Why it matters** Officers discovered suspected class A drugs after searching the vehicle's sole occupant under the misuse of drugs act.

**Details** Egamshukurov, of Great Avenham Street in Preston, faces three charges:

- Possession with intent to supply cocaine
- Using a vehicle without insurance
- Driving otherwise in accordance with a licence

He appeared at Ipswich Magistrates' Court yesterday where magistrates remanded him in custody.

**The bottom line:** Egamshukurov is due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 9 January 2025.
