Preston man charged with cocaine supply after being pulled over on London Road, Ipswich

A 20-year-old Lancashire man has been charged with drug supply offences after police stopped a car in Ipswich. Azizbek Egamshukurov was remanded in custody following a court appearance yesterday.

The big picture Police arrested Egamshukurov, from Preston, after officers on patrol stopped a black Honda Jazz on London Road just before 8:15pm on Tuesday.

Details Egamshukurov, of Great Avenham Street in Preston, faces three charges:

  • Possession with intent to supply cocaine
  • Using a vehicle without insurance
  • Driving otherwise in accordance with a licence

He appeared at Ipswich Magistrates' Court yesterday where magistrates remanded him in custody.

The bottom line: Egamshukurov is due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 9 January 2025.
