Police seek witnesses after woman found dead in Ipswich park
Officers are appealing for information after a woman was found deceased in Sherrington Road Recreation Ground at 05:50 today, with anyone who may have relevant details urged to come forward.
The details: A member of the public discovered the woman lying on the ground and immediately contacted emergency services. Ambulance crews attended the scene, but the woman was declared deceased just over 30 minutes later at around 6:20am.
The entire recreation ground has been cordoned off with a police scene in place whilst officers conduct their initial enquiries. The park will remain closed during this investigation period.
