# Oil heater sparks house fire in Ipswich

- Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet
- Crews used portable ventilation equipment to clear smoke

**Response time:** The incident was dealt with swiftly, with a Stop notice issued at 12:21.

**Bottom line:** Quick action by residents and emergency services prevented what could have been a more serious incident. All occupants were accounted for and no injuries were reported.
