**What's next:** Suffolk Constabulary says it is continuing to work closely with the Suffolk Coroner's Service to establish the circumstances that led to the man entering the River Orwell.

**What they're saying:** A spokesperson for the force said: "Our thoughts remain with the man's family and all those affected by these tragic circumstances."

**The bottom line:** While a cause of death has not yet been confirmed, police say nothing so far points to third-party involvement, as efforts continue to understand how the man came to enter the river.
