The popular chippie, which also sold kebabs and fried chicken, had been situated in a prime location next to Tesco Express and had been a staple of the Waterfront area for several years.

Previously, the shop had experienced closures due to fires under the most recent ownership.

The eatery, which was rated 4.3 out of 5 on Google Reviews, had garnered positive feedback for its food quality and service, with customers praising its "exceptional service" and "delicious food".

It is not known why the establishment shut, but the closure is believed to be permanent.
