- Police were called to Leveret Gardens at 11:00 on Sunday after reports a man had been attacked with a knife
- The victim, in his 20s, remains in hospital in a stable condition
- Officers located a suspect vehicle in Norwich Road, Ipswich, at 11:35, arresting a 60-year-old woman
- A 26-year-old man was arrested at 12:25 at an address on Grimwade Street, Ipswich

**Who's charged:**

Simon Jones, of Freehold Road, Needham Market, is charged with:

- Wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm
- Possession of a knife in a public place

Nicola Jones, also of Freehold Road, Needham Market, is charged with:

- Wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm

**What's next:** Both suspects have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates' Court today.
