# Pub manager excited to welcome back familiar and new faces following 6-figure renovation

**Why it matters:** The Man on the Moon has reopened following its six-figure refurbishment.

**The big picture:** The Greene King pub on Palmcroft Road reopened on 15 August after extensive renovations to both interior and exterior spaces. The investment has transformed the venue with new signage, lighting, outdoor furniture, flooring, artwork and upgraded toilets.

**What's new:** Customers can now enjoy additional television screens and a new sound system for live sports coverage from Sky Sports and TNT Sports. The refurbishment has maximised the pub's space inside and out, creating what McCoy describes as "a true community pub for all".
