# Ipswich plumbing apprentice named one of top female plumbers in the country

Lee, who works for CJ Plumbing and Heating, came second in the regional heats in February before progressing to the finals at Stephenson College, part of the Loughborough College Group, where she faced five other finalists.

**What they're saying:** "It's been a great experience, testing my skills against others and I'm shocked to become the second best female apprentice plumber in the country," said Lee.

Owen Breadman, a lecturer at Suffolk Rural College, added: "It's brilliant. Danni smashed it. We are all very proud of her."

**The bottom line:** Lee's achievement is a testament to her determination and skill, and a sign that women are making their mark in traditionally male-dominated trades.
