# Ipswich man to appear in court for filming fatal A14 crash scene

**The background**: The charges relate to a fatal collision on the A14 westbound at Sproughton at 17:40 on Tuesday 4 June. The crash involved a car, a van and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, Kevin Doherty, 44, from Somersham, died at the scene.

**What happened next**: Police arrested the accused on Wednesday 5 June after a video reportedly showing the victim was shared on social media. He was questioned at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre and released under investigation.
