Ipswich Crown Court

The big picture: Piotr Krzeslak approached the victim while she was walking to work, made sexual remarks and death threats, and loitered outside her home and workplace.

Krzeslak, of no fixed abode but from the Ipswich area, was found guilty at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday 12 November. The offences took place between 13 January and 17 January this year.

What they're saying: DC Natalie Cole of Ipswich CID praised the victim's courage, stating: "I would like to commend the bravery of the victim who came forward to report their experience and hope this sentence will encourage other victims of stalking to report it."

Worth noting: Police urge anyone experiencing stalking to report it immediately by:

  • Calling 999 if in immediate danger
  • Contacting the National Stalking Helpline on 0808 8020300
  • Visiting suffolk.police.uk for advice and support

The bottom line: While Krzeslak awaits sentencing, Suffolk Police emphasise that stalking is a serious crime and urge other victims to come forward, assuring them that support and protection are available.
