# Ipswich accountancy firm Ensors rebrands as Azets

**The details:** Ensors joined Azets in September 2025, marking the group's entry into East Anglia. Over the past year, the two businesses have carried out a phased integration, with Ensors clients gaining access to Azets' wider range of specialist services, sector expertise, technology and international resources, while continuing to work with their existing local teams.

The Ensors name is replaced by Azets across offices in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Ipswich, Norwich and Saxmundham.

**What they're saying:** David Scrivener, regional managing director at Azets, said: "Today is an important milestone and the natural next step in our journey with Azets.

"Ensors has been part of East Anglia for more than 130 years and we are enormously proud of the reputation, relationships and expertise that have been built over that time. Becoming Azets doesn't change those foundations. Our clients will continue to work with the same people, in the same locations, with the same commitment to high-quality, personal service."

He added: "What has changed over the past year is the breadth of what we can offer. Being part of Azets gives our clients and our people access to greater expertise, investment and opportunities, while retaining the strong local relationships that have always defined our business."

Peter Gallanagh, UK chief executive officer at Azets, said: "When Ensors joined Azets last year, we knew we were bringing together two businesses with a very similar approach to clients, people and long-term relationships.

"Over the past 12 months, our teams have increasingly worked as one business and today's rebrand reflects that progress.

"East Anglia is an important growth region for Azets, and we are proud of the platform we have established here. We will continue to invest in our people, capabilities and presence across the region, building on the remarkable heritage Ensors has created over more than 130 years."

**For context:** Azets describes itself as an international business advisory group with 9,000 local experts across 190 locations in eight countries, serving more than 100,000 clients.

**The bottom line:** More than 130 years after it was founded in East Anglia, Ensors has ceased to exist as a brand, with Azets promising that clients will see continuity in staff and offices even as the name above the door changes.
