# Five crews tackle fire at Warren Heath retail park

**The details:** Crews were called at 17:26 on Monday, 3 August, with appliances from Ipswich Princes Street, Ipswich East, Holbrook, Felixstowe and Hadleigh attending.

- Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras, two hose reel jets and two 45m jets to tackle the fire.
- The fire was contained to the yard and prevented from spreading to the building.
- Police attended to assist with traffic management in the area.

A stop was called at 19:10, with two crews remaining on scene to check for hotspots.

**The bottom line:** The fire was brought under control without spreading to the B&M store, though residents were urged to keep doors and windows shut while smoke cleared from the area.
